Excellence Art Gallery was co-founded by Italian art curator Giuseppe Carnevale, who has had a long and successful career in the art marketplace, and artist Massimo Cedrini, the Founder, who is responsible for managing the administrative aspects of events until 2023.  As of 2024, Giuseppe Carnevale is the sole owner of Excellence Art Gallery. Our journey began in 2014 with the opening of our first gallery in Marbella’s historic Casco Antiguo (Old Town), strategically capturing the tourist market. Our mission and business model are rooted in promoting artists by showcasing their works and organizing events in our gallery, other prestigious venues, museums, foundations, and international art fairs around the world.

 

To date, Excellence Art Gallery has successfully organized over 200 exhibitions and participated in more than 30 international art fairs.

 

Building on this success, in 2018, we opened a new 250-square-meter gallery on Marbella’s renowned Golden Mile, adjacent to the Palacio de Congresos. This expansion reflects our dedication to effectively promoting artists in a prime location that caters to the luxury market.

 

In addition to our physical spaces, we have expanded our mission online, offering a unique platform for artists to connect with and share their creations with a discerning audience of art lovers. This initiative provides new market opportunities with flexible plans and promotional events designed to accommodate all budgets, including free options.

Massimo was the Founder of Excellence Art Gallery in 2015 partnering with Giuseppe they defined as an atypical gallery as the commercial and organizational aspect directed by Giuseppe Carnevale enters into symbiosis with the more emotional aspect of Massimo Cedrini who as a painter decides to open his own gallery to interpret his space as a place that aims to give voice to any type of art and proposal without any pre-concept and with a global vision open to the world. The exhibition’s dynamics has as a strong point to transmit with its events an empathic and mediatic force in which the exhibition of works of art merges with the organizational professionalism dedicated to the care of the details. Currently Massimo Cedrini is no longer in charge of the gallery since January 1, 2024 and is currently directed by Giuseppe Carnevale.
