Cäcilia Schlapper

After completing a commercial apprenticeship, Cäcilia Schlapper switched to gastronomy by getting to know her current partner and was successfully self-employed there for over three decades. By participating in numerous advanced courses and workshops with national and international lecturers, she got to know different techniques of painting. At home, she continues to experiment in her own studio with various materials and media, resulting in very special exhibits. But painting not only abstract and experimental but also photorealistic is a special attraction for her. To assign a style is difficult with her, because she is guided by her feelings. That is her freedom, which connects her with painting. The artist makes about 3 -4 exhibitions each year in Germany and abroad, which are very popular. Since 2010, she is represented at ART Innsbruck, the largest art fair in Western Austria. Most recently by the Galerie Hermann in Kufstein. Her work on the board of the Kunstverein “Kitzbühel-Aktiv” takes her very seriously and contributes to cultivating contacts with her colleagues.
