Jose Ramón Sala

Born in Alicante on 1944 The sculpture entered in his life de during 70´s decade. Wnawares, He spend more and more hours in his studio. Until one day, the sculpture was his life. At the beginning was a need, own creative wish which lead him to looking for shapes mud and wood hid. He created works for him, which suddenly became works for others. Collectors and art lovers who convinced him that his work would travel to stay in Madrid, Cologne, Barcelona or Manchester. Today, the hands of José Ramón Sala continue to shape the clay from the home workshop in his native Alicante. Near the Mediterranean Sea that one day saw him born. Feeding their concern to mold the material, to transform it. As a sculptor artist, José Ramón Sala collaborates regularly with the prestigious ceramist Roque Martínez for the firing of his works and with the Madrid foundry Arte 6 to make his sculptures in bronze.
