Immaculate Art Conception Show

A special art event on the celebrated Dec. 8 Holiday weekend at Excellence Art Gallery new Golden Mile 250 sq mtr gallery space and 1000 sq mtr Andalucian water fountains lined patio. The event will be attended by Marbella’s affluent art patrons and sponsored by major luxury brands.

ARTE+EVENTO is organizing the event that’ll include an Art Draw offering artworks prizes acquired from the artists as well as rewards for artists, live jazz and delicious Italian canapés prepared by our Art Caffé.

Artists’ participation is by invitation or qualifications by applying on our site when approved you’ll have the opportunity to share your work with our discerning art lovers community online for free on your own self managed page, .we’re the first on-wall and online gallery.

How many artworks and what sizes can I exhibit?

You may exhibit one artwork up to 100×100 cm at the event, if you register before Sep 30th, we will offer you a welcome bonus to also exhibit another artwork at our very popular Casco Antiguo gallery size up to 50×50 cm where we have regular mini events every two weeks.

How much does it cost to participate?

The participation package fees is €500 if the artwork is sold at the exhibition the gallery is entitled to only 10% commission, artist receives 90% of the sale price. In addition if the work is selected by our sponsors and curator panel to offer as a prize, we will acquire it paying in full your asking gallery price.

What are the qualifications criteria?

Our mandate is to support career emerging and mid-career artists offering high quality original artworks to our discerning collectors. We like to give a chance to everyone and there is an art lover for any type of art it’s purely an emotional investment. We qualify art when it’s original and artist when seriously committed.

What about shipping and insurance?

Artist is responsible to ship the artwork to our gallery and our insurance policy covers it at the gallery price value while it’s exhibited on our premises. If the artwork is not sold the return shipping charges is borne by the artist. How long will you exhibit my artwork for?

The event is strategically timed around the big Holiday season, if your work does not sell at the main event we will keep it on exhibit at the gallery till the end of December allowing you better chances to sell it in this busy shopping period.

Can I exhibit more than one artwork at the gallery?

Yes you may but not at the event, we have very reasonably priced plans you may see here and we’re happy to discuss any other ideas you may have, we could also organize you a solo if this is what you wish we have two gallery spaces each offers different advantages and patrons contact us let know how can we help.

What is the dead line to receive the artwork?

The dead line to receive the artwork in Marbella is Nov. 28th2018, any artwork arriving beyond this date is not guaranteed an entry at the main event on Dec. 8th.

Casco Antiguo Art Events


ARTE+EVENTO organizes a fortnightly event at the charming Excellence Art Gallery 80 sr mtr space in the Marbella’s Old Town exhibiting one artwork per artist up to 50×50 cm from different artists.

The work stays exhibited for fifteen days, if not unsold during this period we will return it to you unless you wish to try your chances in another event.

Artists’ participation is by invitation or qualifications by applying on our site, when approved you’ll be able to create your own self managed page for free on our platform to share your work with a wider audience of discerning collectors and gauge interest before scheduling your exhibition.

How much is it to exhibit and what does it include?

The Casco Antiguo events packages is only €200 which also includes a free page on our platform to share more of your art with our visitors and collectors.

Can I exhibit more than one artwork or bigger size?

The Casco Antiguo events are restricted to one artwork per artist, however you may chose to exhibit more and bigger sizes from our reasonably priced plans.

Who qualifies to participate in these events?

We conduct these events simply to support emerging artists allowing them the opportunity to share their work with art lovers and gauge interest. We qualify the art when it’s original and the artist is a committed career artist.

What commission do you charge?

If the work is sold while exhibited the gallery is entitled to only 15% commission, you receive 85% of the sale price. If you make direct contact with potential buyers online thru our platform we will not charge any commission.

Casco Antiguo is the destination to over 80% of all tourists visiting Marbella, we are established there since 2014 organizing regular events with a number of sponsors. It’s a very popular area with quality tourism and our events attract a lot of loyal art lovers and patrons to discover new emerging artists and enjoy our animated events.

Free Self-managed site & Social Media Promotion

Create your own page and online presence on our platform to share your art with thousands of art lovers and collectors around the world. We offer an array of online marketing services in addition to a befitting web space to present your work professionally. We also offer artists members different plans to exhibit on our walls and social media boosting promotions.

Can I exhibit only online for free now?

Yes you may and it’s for free if your art qualifies, we actually encourage you to take on the free plan and start gauging interest from our collectors and decide at will which plan or event you wish to consider. No strings attached you may remove your work anytime and we will never charge you, it’ll be renewed yearly so long you’re updating your work.

Do you get exclusivity on works posted online?

No we do not require exclusivity on artwork posted online, however when an artwork is spread all over the net it becomes less attractive to the collector, it’s always best to keep it more exclusive and avoid posting the same artwork on other sites especially public e-commerce platforms.

Why should I post my art here?

Unlike other online sites that provide you only a virtual gallery we offer the opportunity to exhibit in a real brick and mortar gallery to include effective online promotions and we only take a sales commission on artwork sold at the gallery not when you make direct sales through your online presence on our platform.

Is there a minimum number of artworks I can post?

Actually yes, we require a minimum of six artworks when creating your page, the free package allows you up to ten works and it’s unlimited for the paid packages.

Why don’t you sell artwork online?

We are in effect a brick and mortar gallery, we do not have the necessary logistical tools to handle efficiently online orders especially when the work is with the artist in another geographical location around the world. We are considering offering this service in the near future to artworks exhibited or physically consigned at the gallery to ensure being able to fulfill orders efficiently.

Do you charge fees or commissions on sales?

We only charge sales commission on artworks we sell physically direct at the gallery, if the artwork is sold while exhibited at the gallery the gallery is entitled to ten percent commission. If you make direct sale with collector through our platform, we do not get involved nor charge any commission unless our service is required to facilitate the sales transaction and other logistics.

Can you help set me up?

Surely, we did our best to make it user-friendly with simple submission forms in all cases our team are moderating your content to advise on best practice and are glad to assist you one on one free of charge if you need them just ask! How long will you keep my work online for free?

Your page will be posted for a period of one year, it will renew automatically for similar periods free of charge only if you update your inventory or post events, we do not want to end up with an outdated and forgotten platform.

Can I edit my artworks inventory online on my own?

By all means, you can self-manage your site , you may edit, add or remove any of your artworks inventory when you wish. Content is always moderated by our panel to ensure quality and best practice.
